Bus service will be provided for passengers to board/depart the aircraft. The arriving flight will arrive at 4:30pm and the departing flight will leave at 8:30pm.
![]() Ever since Terminal 4 was finished, JetBlue has been expanding in PLV. There became a gate shortage in Terminal 4 and hard stands had to be used which inconveniences customers and the airline. After Terminal 8 was renovated, Southwest Airlines moved over there leaving Terminal 2 open. JetBlue decided to occupy that terminal which has more gates so JetBlue can further expand. ![]() Palms View International Airport is proud to announce that Terminal 8 is now operational! This project was planned a few years ago when airplane traffic in PLV was expanding. It was predicted that there would be a gate shortage and this year there was a gate shortage. So, renovations in what used to be called "Terminal 4" began. In 1971, Eastern Air Lines built what was called "Terminal 4" at the time with two concourse. A mainline flight concourse and a regional/commuter concourse. After Eastern ended service in 1991, the terminal was kept but jetways were taken out. Aircraft just used the area for hardstands. Now, the terminals two concourses are now in use. Concourse A is used by Hawaiian Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines. Concourse A has a total of 9 gates with 3 gates that can be used for international arrivals. ![]() This is Concourse B, Eastern used it to hold their commuter operations. After the renovation project was finished, Delta Air Lines decided to use this concourse to hold most of their Delta Connection operations. Concourse B has a total of 16 gates. This concourse does not have jet-ways and passengers will need to board outside. PLV passengers can now fly Spirit airlines to Detroit. Flights will operated on an Airbus A319. The flight times are as follows. Arrival: 1:45pm Departure: 6:05pm

Emirates is now making plans to start service at KPLV. Since Delta Air Lines will be ending Dubai service soon, Emirates will have no competition on those flights. If they were to start KPLV service, they would use Terminal 7 and build an Emirates lounge. It is still being debated which aircraft would be best for the flight. The candidates are the 777-200 and the 777-300.
